Location: Follow the Inter-American Highway
from San José to the 149 km marker. Just before you
get to the Río Lagarto bridge, veer right and continue
40 km on the gravel road.
Monteverde is famous throughout the world for its cloud
forest. In this natural paradise, you can also explore the
San Luis Waterfalls and the Santa Elena Reserve, as well
as enjoy horseback rides, canopy tours and many other activities.
