Location: Limón (also called Port
of Limón), the country’s most important seaport,
is the capital of the Limón Province, and is located
on a bay of marshy lowlands on the Caribbean coast. Among
other attractive architectural sites here, you can see the
cathedral and a large market in Vargas Park that includes
a botanical garden. In addition, close to the city you will
find Bonita and Portete beaches.
